No catch. Action AI is fully funded by Underdogs to empower Asian student founders. Stage 1 is 100% free — including Gemini and Lovable access. Stages 2–4 are performance-selected and fully funded — no cost to you.
It provides guided content for the practice, but you work at your own pace. However, you need to finish that stage by a set date to move on to the next stage.
A real, live web-based AI product — a chatbot, a recommendation tool, an AI-powered landing page. Whatever matches your idea. You get a real URL you can share with anyone.
Yes! Stage 1 is open to all university students across Asia. For Stages 2–4, participants need to be based in India or Indonesia, as coaching and curriculum are region-specific. But Stage 1 is yours — no restrictions. We are planning to gradually expand to the Asian region. Please look forward to it.
Complete Stage 1 to be eligible. Top 1,000 advance to Stage 2, top 100 to Stage 3, and top 10 reach Stage 4 — which includes VC matching and an invitation to Seoul for the Korea Grand Showcase, Asia's premier student founder demo event.
Stage 1 is about 8 hours total — work at your own pace, no weekly minimum. Stages 2–4 require roughly 5–10 hours per week, including coaching sessions and weekly deliverables.
You still walk away with a real AI product, an official builder certificate, and free AI chatbot access. Stage 1 alone is a complete portfolio-building experience — and you can re-apply in the next cohort.
